Diaphragmatic Breathing

Check out this post from today’s 17u lift!

“Applying diaphragmatic breathing to suit case holds today!
This breathing technique is very important for
- Lowering heart rate
- Working the intramuscular core
- Lowering cortisol levels in the body
It’s also important that you posteriorly rotate the pelvis so that your lumbar spine does not take the majority of the load.”

Note: All breathing is not diaphragmatic breathing. We are particularly focused on breathing into your belly vs. breathing into your chest and raising your shoulders
